Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Fresh Cleaning & Maintenance website (fresh.co.je) and the services we provide. By using the site or engaging us for services, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Fresh Cleaning & Maintenance (“Fresh”, “we”, “us”) is a commercial and residential property cleaning and maintenance business based in Jersey, Channel Islands. Contact: ben@fresh.co.je.

2. Enquiries and quotes

Indicative prices shown on the website are estimates based on typical jobs. A formal quote is issued after we’ve reviewed your requirements. Quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote email (typically 14 days). Accepting a quote creates a binding agreement for the specified work at the specified price.

3. Bookings and cancellations

Once a booking is confirmed, we’ll email you the date, time and assigned team. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full at our discretion, particularly where staff have been scheduled or travelled to site.

4. Access and site readiness

You are responsible for providing safe access to the property and disclosing any hazards in advance. If we cannot gain access or the environment is unsafe, we may leave without completing the work and charge a call-out fee.

5. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable within 14 days of issue. Corporate clients on account are invoiced monthly in arrears. Overdue balances may incur a late-payment charge in line with prevailing Jersey law. All prices are inclusive of Jersey Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 5% where applicable.

6. Liability

We take reasonable care in performing our services and carry public liability insurance. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in respect of any claim is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant service. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, fair wear and tear, or indirect or consequential losses.

7. Use of the website

You may use our website to browse services and submit enquiries. You must not attempt to disrupt the site, access areas not intended for you, or submit content that is unlawful or abusive. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when we last changed them. Material changes affecting existing bookings will be notified to the customer by email.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Bailiwick of Jersey and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Jersey courts.
